The aim of the conference is to improve the education methods and the educator through specialization, certification and continuous engagement with issues related to road safety, as well as emphasizing on the importance of lifelong education.
We desire, however, to draw a "path to” the conference, a pre-conferential season full of events taking place in various places. This path shall be defined by the verbs “PROPOSE” and “ACT”, and will be based on the initiatives of all those involved in the “Road Society”.
A great part of the desirable success of the conference is based on its international nature, as we invite colleagues and domain experts from around the world to attend the conferential process and to -via their participation and experience- help achieving the objectives of the conference.
It is also important to mention the scientific nature of the conference, as the process, apart from the intellectual debates and scientific thinking, aims to produce tangible scientific findings and evidence, which could be used in the future as official scientific material.
In spring of 2011 we shall be ready to identify, discuss, recommend and assist in a comprehensive and productive conference, always aiming to the upgrade of road safety and traffic education.
